This Summer we have a range of short courses on offer for children, young people and adults. Our Summer Program offers fun and engaging skills-based training for all ages and aspirations. From 3-week Residency programs to 1-day short courses, there’s a creative adventure on offer for everyone.

Residency Courses
Develop and extend your creative skills over an intensive two or three-week period. NIDA Residencies are designed for people with a commitment to rigorous artistic development. Led by expert teaching artists with a wealth of industry experience, you’ll develop your craft in a supportive environment with like-minded peers. Class sizes are small, ensuring you receive dedicated attention throughout the residency.
Courses in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane
Sydney courses are offered in multiple locations around the city, including NIDA’s award-winning Kensington campus.
Melbourne courses are offered at both NIDA’s modern Southbank studios and the historic Abbotsford Convent.
Brisbane Courses are delivered with the support of TAFE Queensland at the Southbank Campus.
