Overview

Join the adventure and become a NIDA Ninja! This action-packed holiday course offers young performers an exciting introduction to the art of ninja movement, teamwork, storytelling and character creation. Help the Empress achieve peace while developing performance skills and creating dynamic scenes to share with your NIDA friends.  

Led by our experienced NIDA Open teaching artists, you’ll thrive in a fun and supportive environment that nurtures creativity and collaboration. From stealth to stage: your Ninja journey begins here! 

Components

• Storytelling: Explore storytelling, character adventure and creative problem solving through group and individual improvisation. 
• Physical Expression: Participate in fun and engaging drama exercises that promote creative confidence, expressive movement, physical command and spatial awareness. 
• Performance and Collaboration: Work as part of a team to achieve a shared goal through performance. 

Prerequisites

This course is designed for children who attend full time school (NSW Kindergarten – Grade 2 equivalent). If your child is not yet enrolled in full time, formal schooling, please see our selection of Creative Play courses designed for pre-school children.
