Step into the world of TV presenting with NIDA Mini-News, an engaging drama course where children transform well-known fairytales into exciting news stories. Develop TV presenting skills, build confidence, and enhance improvisation and collaboration techniques as you bring classic tales to life on screen. Taught by our experienced NIDA Open teaching artists, students will be encouraged to explore performance skills in a dynamic, supportive environment. Components

• Creative Voice: Participate in fun and engaging exercises and activities to develop new ideas and learn how to share them with others. 
• Storytelling: Explore stories, ideas and adventures through group and individual improvisation. 
• Confidence and Presenting: Develop in performance confidence and learn basic presenting and interview techniques. 

Prerequisites

This course is designed for children who attend full time school (VIC Prep equivalent). If your child is not yet enrolled in full time, formal schooling, please see our selection of Creative Play courses designed for pre-school children.
