Welcome to the wonderful world of Musical Theatre. Work with a NIDA Open Teaching Artist to develop your singing and acting skills and learn how to bring stories to life through song. Work with an ensemble of like-minded peers in this exciting introduction to musical theatre. Create a short presentation for family and friends at the end of the course.

Components

• Singing: Focus on developing your vocal range and ability through singing workshops. 
• Acting: Apply NIDA acting technique to song lyrics to unlock the meaning behind the words. 
• Physical awareness: Understand movement and how it can inform character and storytelling choices.
