Miracle and Rhyme: Mini Musical, Grades K-2

Overview

Inspired by the worlds of Roald Dahl, enter a world of pure imagination as you sing your way through a mini-musical adventure!  Develop your singing and storytelling skills, explore magical, revolting and inspiring characters, and enhance your vocal and physical expression in a fun, collaborative environment during this magical, musical program.

Our NIDA Open teaching artists bring their creative expertise and industry experience to inspire students to develop their confidence, creativity and performance skills. Work together to present a gob-stoppingly marvellous musical presentation for friends and family at the end of the course!

Components

  • Voice and song: Develop confidence singing in front of a live audience.
  • Characters: Experiment with vocal and physical expression to create a character for performance inspired by a musical theatre story.
  • Performance and Collaboration: Work as part of a team to develop a short ensemble singing and acting presentation.

Prerequisites

This course is designed for children who attend full time school (NSW Kindergarten equivalent).
