Overview

Unleash your inner hero and join the NIDA League in a battle against evil. Explore voice, movement and improvisation techniques to create your unique superhero character and develop their incredible powers. Devise original ‘save the day’ scenes in this action-packed course. Present your heroic adventures to family and friends at the end of the course. 

Taught by experienced NIDA Open teaching artists, develop confidence, unleash your imagination, and explore essential performance techniques in an inclusive and fun environment.

Components

• Creative Voice: Participate in fun and engaging drama exercises to develop personal and creative confidence. 
• Storytelling: Explore superhero stories, character adventures and creative problem solving through group and individual improvisation. 
• Performance and Collaboration: Work as part of a team to achieve a shared goal through performance. 

Prerequisites

This course is designed for children who attend full time school (NSW K-2 equivalent). If your child is not yet attending school, please see our selection of Creative Play courses designed for pre-school children.
