Overview

Join us for a week-long comprehensive holiday course designed for children to ignite creativity in improvisation, character development, devising and acting. Dive into engaging voice and movement activities and explore original storytelling and devising techniques with an ensemble of like-minded peers. Discover performance skills to bring your ideas to life. This dynamic course also includes a fun introduction to acting on screen workshop.

Components

  • Spontaneity: Explore stories, ideas and narrative scene work through improvisation. 
  • Voice: Introduction to how the voice works, exploration of fundamental vocal performance techniques. 
  • Physical Awareness: Practice and apply fundamental movement technique for the actor including alignment, presence and spatial relationships. 
  • Creative Voice: Assume a variety of roles in a creative development process to generate new ideas for a live presentation.
