Enter the amazing world of wicked fairy tales and extraordinary characters!  Create your own imaginative scenarios inspired by the wondrous stories and poems of Roald Dahl in this exciting holiday course. Explore vocal and physical expression, develop new characters, and weave your own whimsical and darkly humorous tales. 

Spark your creativity and build foundational drama skills in a fun and inclusive space with our experienced NIDA Open teaching artists. Bring your beastly rhymes to life and share your newfound performance skills with friends and family at the end of the course. 

Components

• Creative Voice: Participate in fun and engaging creative exercises inspired by the stories and poems of Roald Dahl. 
• Storytelling: Explore stories, character adventures and creative problem solving through group and individual improvisation. 
• Performance and collaboration: Work with others to build a creative idea into a short, devised presentation. 

Prerequisites

This course is designed for children who attend full time school (VIC Prep-2). If your child is not yet attending school, please see our selection of Creative Play courses designed for pre-school children.
